I'm flying high!

I'm all excited about FLY lady - you know that by now right?! Well, it's been 3 weeks since I've started and things are going so good. Not perfect, I'm still trying to get on top of laundry and well, tonight - I'm hanging out on the couch instead of cleaning my kitchen!! But I will have it done before leaving the house tomorrow, yes I will! :)

I am a passionate person and it has always been easy for me to start things but then fizzle out as time goes on. I do NOT want this to happen! I do know that life will change when we adopt our 4th child and that may take some time to get into the new normal but we'll deal with that when the time comes.

For now I just have to say, I'm happy! Tonight, we had some very dear friends stop over unexpectedly.

QUITE unexpectedly due to the fact that they live 2 states away! They were visiting their family in our area and we were incredibly blessed to hang out with them for a little while. This couple actually was in Guatemala picking up their son at the same time we were picking up Hudson - so we are bonded for life to them! :)

Since I've been "flying" now for 3 weeks, my house was presentable - especially my bedroom and bathroom which before FLY lady rarely looked nice (hate to admit it, but it's true).

We may also get the pleasure of keeping them overnight tomorrow and you know what? I just cleaned all my bathrooms - showers and all yesterday!

Is it just me or do you too think that the Lord has been orchestrating this little "unexpected" visit all along?!

I really believe that tonight the Lord gave me loving pat on the back. A little encouragement like "Jami, you're doing good. Keep it up. It's worth it!"

Then tonight while reading in Galations (ch. 6:4) - I came across this verse: "Pay attention to your own work for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done..."

Isn't the Lord COOL?!!

So tonight I'm smiling and feeling quite blessed! And I want to encourage you --- He cares. He cares about the little, seemingly minute details of your life. He adores you and He has a special and specific purpose for your life!
