Our sweet 2 year old

Kiss, Kiss, Kiss, Kiss "hi!"

That was the greeting I received from little L during the church service today! :)

Then she looked at Clint - patted his arm and said "Clint!" Then she wrapped her little arms around him and said "MY Clint, my Clint!"

That was the first time she declared him hers.

I gotta tell you, this is one special little girl. She is lovable, kissable, and huggable! (and I'm just dying not being able to post a picture of her...)

Just imagine, big and expressive dark eyes, dark brown ringlet curls that frame her sweet face and beautiful milk chocolate brown skin.

She's a beauty - one that brings a lot of spunk and joy into our home!

Our new normal is setting in. The past few days have been truly blissful. The weeks before that (since she arrived) have been quite trying to be honest. I have struggled and felt overwhelmed many times. My heart has been crying out for HIS joy and love and peace because I was feeling bullied by Satan. Fear and guilt were invading my heart and mind too much. The Lord is faithful. He is my ROCK and He is my source of strength.

Our circumstances will change, our emotions will go up and down but He is constant. He remains faithful. Stay connected to the vine (this is what I tell myself all the time). Remain in His love, my friends. Take time to STOP and be still with Him today. Let Him change your perspective. Let Him refresh you. Let Him fill you up to overflowing. Let Him lavish His love on you. He adores you. He has plans for you! Amazing God.
