Oh how I love my Jesus!!
Today has been a day where I have been moving sloooowly. I just haven't felt "on my game" you could say. Life has been going at a steady pace of craziness these past two weeks especially. Appointments, meetings etc. etc. But you don't need to hear about that. Everyone is busy, I know.
Here's what's cool.
Today, I just couldn't wait to put everyone in quiet time so I could go refuel and be with Jesus. I knew my perspective was off and I needed Him so desperately.
I was so tired, I actually drifted off to sleep on my knees. When I woke up, I crawled up onto the couch and grabbed my devotional and Bible and told Him, I can't wait to hear from You.
This is what I read from my "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young,
"I am a Mighty God, nothing is too difficult for Me. I have chosen to use weak ones like you to accomplish My purposes. Your weakness is designed to open you up to My Power. Therefore, do not fear your limitations or measure the day's demands against your strength. What I require of you is to stay connected to Me, living in trusting dependence on My limitless resources. When you face unexpected demands there is no need to panic. Remember that I am with you. Talk with Me and listen while I talk you through each challenging situation.
I am not a careless God. When I allow difficulties to come into your life, I equip you fully to handle them. Relax in My Presence, trusting in My strength."
Amen? Amen!!
The Lord is so Amazing. He knows our every need. He has called us to live so totally beyond ourselves so that it is obvious that He is the one working and not us. He continues to stretch and challenge me. We are facing the unknown as we hope to sell our house soon as well as some possible major changes coming up for our family in the next several months. I am so out of my element but so safe in the Lord's strong arms. Thank You Jesus for being all I need and loving me so abundantly!
Amazing God!!
