HE spoke...at She Speaks!

All I can say is that GOD is Amazing!

How do I describe this weekend effectively? God was there...He was so close, I saw Him, I felt Him, I LOVE Him!! She Speaks was truly an Oasis from the business of life- a time of refreshment and peace but also a time where I was challenged and inspired.

I shed so many stinkin' tears this weekend...many might have thought (surely she is UNstable in all her ways) BUT they were good tears! :) God spoke to me in so many ways.

From the little things like when I prayed "Lord, help me to find the sweet girl who bought me my White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks (mmmm, I can still taste it) so I could pay her back." I walked out into the hall and there she was! And by the way, she would not accept my money! Now how about that?!

To the time I walked into the prayer room with a bit of a proud heart - more out of curiosity than anything and left wiping my eyes after being humbled and so blessed.

Or the time when I walked up to the cross to lay down my doubts along with many of my dear sisters in Christ - and just wept when a total stranger (now friend) asked if she could pray for me. (there is a reoccuring theme here...do you see it?!) :)

And even on the way home when I thought for sure we had some sort of mad man on our plane with evil intents - God was there! Now granted I was completely exhausted but I truly feared we might not make it home. Never in my life have I seen anything stranger (on a plane) than what happened last night!

I plan to expound on these stories in the next few days but have to do it in installments or this post would go on WAY too long!! :)

I want to savor everything I learned and felt at She Speaks. I am also ready to step out and knock on some doors as I truly feel like God has given me confirmation that I am to speak His words to women and or young girls. I'm not in a hurry but I'm also willing and available for what Christ has for my life! Praise Him!!
